“Good quality, clean, nice entry lounge with coffee, tea, and water.”

“Cabin in the woods....what more could you ask. It was quiet and in a beautiful setting. Food in the restaurant was standard bar food but it was hot and tasty. Bar staff was courteous and efficient, even when tasked with a rowdy party of about 20 people. They were loud but respectful and the staff took it in stride. Only spent one night in our travels through the area but would stay again.”

“There’s a lot of bad things I could say about this cabin. But the worst thing was (the wiring). I was worried the cabin would catch on fire. Some of the light fixtures were loose in the walls. Especially the kitchen. We did not use the hot tub. We were informed that if water was spilled out it would trip the electric breaker box.”

“This was a clean, comfortable, and affordable property in a beautiful part of West Virginia. The host was very responsive and helpful. Small amenities like coffee and some snacks were thoughtfully included and much appreciated after a long day hiking.”

“This little apartment was perfect for a little weekend getaway! The air conditioning was great and the view was amazing! The house is old and so are most of its appliances, but I think it just adds character! There is a unit above you, which isn’t really a problem, but you can hear their footsteps. Other than that, it was fabulous!”

“We had a fantastic time. 2 adults 2 tweens 2 dogs. Dog and kid paradise. The house is older but it got everything you need. Full kitchen with a huge table, which we loved to hang out in. 2 comfortable bedrooms. My older child slept on an inflatable mattress in the living room, he loved having his own space. Great location. Host thought of every little thing you might need, cups, plates, silverware, trash bags, he even left a self care package including lotion, shampoo, shaving cream etc. the……

“It’s not fancy, but if you’re looking for an affordable, convenient place to use as a base for visiting New River Gorge, this worked well for us. Clean, good communication with owner. 15 minute drive to the bridge, restaurants, gas, etc.”

“As advertised. Clean and convenient to New River Gorge activities. Parking was easy. We would definitely stay there again. However, if stairs are a problem then it might not work for you. Communication was easy and timely.”
