“Excellent location property was clean and decorated nicely. Murphy bed great space saving idea but maybe there is an option for a better mattress ”

“Our family absolutely loved this house and especially enjoyed the water and all of the extra toys included! There were 12 of us ranging in age from 5-67, and there was more than enough space for all. The house is beautiful, spacious and very well stocked. We loved that we could sit in the lawn chairs and keep an eye on the kids while they were swimming, and the garage served as a wonderful game room to occupy the kids in the evenings. We would definitely rent here again!”

“We had the most amazing time at this location. The lake is a flat walkout, which is so rare on Lake Wissota. The sunsets were perfect! We caught lots of fish in the evening! Small Mouth Bass, Walleye & Catfish. Communication was a 5 out of 5! We will definitely be back!! ”

“Everything was super clean, the host is welcoming, the location is perfect, the lake is across the street. There are also bikes and kayaks for free to use. Enjoyed it!”

“Very nice accommodations with nice surroundings by the river. It was so quiet at night and no nearby road traffic to bother either. We enjoyed visiting Timm's Hill and Big Falls County Parks, which were recommendations from our host. ”

“Wonderful home on the lake. Modern, updated with an up-north cabin feel. Very clean and comfortable (with the perfect napping couch in the living room ). Easy drive to Chippewa Falls for anything you need or want to eat. Highly recommend!”

“Riverfront view was beautiful, outdoor area was well thought out. Cabin was very clean, furniture in good condition. Amenities did not match the listing description which was frustrating as I would have planned better had I known. DVD player and Xbox a nice addition for rainy nights. Listing wasn't clear that it was a porta potty and no shower source. Owner was very responsive via email, phone call and text. Place has great potential!!”

“We had a great time at Hygee lodge. It was perfect for our large group of 17. The large living area fit us all with ease and was a great place to play games when the weather was not perfect. The lake is quiet but big enough for water sports and some really good fishing. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating if you need any help. Thank you for a great stay. The kids, parents, and grandparents were all very happy and grateful for a chance to stay at such a great place! Thank you again!”

“Amazing host and stay at this nice cabin. Good for getting away and enjoying the outdoors. Or to enjoy the many other activities near the Eau Clair. Millers boat launch and dam was also a nice spot to check out. ”

“One of the best places we have stayed! The cabin is stunningly beautiful. The pictures do not tell the story, this is a place you have to experience. Very private, right on the water, nature everywhere. We had geese and deer in the lawn, hummingbirds flying around, turtles all around the docks. Place came with 3 kayaks and a paddle boat. The fishing was out of this world. After 4 days we lost count in the 70s. We caught crappie, bluegill, perch, and bass. DNR says no bass in lake...but we caught……

“Nice little cabin, access to Lake Holcombe and just a minute walk to public swimming area. Covered patio area with grill and tables/chairs. Relaxing getaway, property is well maintained and neighbors are really nice. Will be a repeat customer. ”
