"The space worked well for our family group. Perfect number of bedrooms and sleeping spaces. Really enjoyed the variety of books in the library. Bathrooms clean. Bedrooms mostly clean— found a few spiderwebs and a stain on a sheet. Host responsive to request for missing expected items—shampoo, coffee grounds.Outdoor area ample for kids to play and run.Peaceful view of the field, dark night skies.We knew from the listing that the main room and the kitchen had not been updated, but didn’t anticipate carpet dirt stains in main room and chipped tiles and the pitted concrete floor in the kitchen. Most cabinet fronts had dried dripped food stains. Thick dust on furniture in main room.Review from a couple of months ago mentioned an encased broken glass window in the living room. Hopefully that is being addressed.We knew there would be some flies and bugs but it was alarming how many there were."

"Everything here is perfect! Beautifully decorated, cozy, warm and roomy. Meticulous clean. Hot tub was relaxing and overlooks a beautiful landscape and the quaint town of Indendence. There's a Dollar General right down the road in case you forgot something. There is also a great antique shop in town, too. Kitchen fully stocked with literally everything you need to spend the weekend here. The Blackstone grill is very handy for burgers for dinner and scrambled eggs and french toast for breakfast. If you are still reading this just book it already. You won't regret it. Kelli is a top notch host! This place is incredibly welcoming! We'll definitely be back. "

"Our stay was fantastic! The place was very comfortable (the bed especially!) and was in the perfect location. Wabasha is such a quiet and quaint community filled with very friendly people…even the neighbors in the building welcomed me and hoped our stay was perfect. Our host recommended various places to eat and hints on how to get free treats (that was fun!) I would definitely love to come back to this nice little town- and definitely would consider staying here again!"

"First time renting a property. Enjoyed it tremendously. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Grandchildren enjoyed time together with cousins in the large room with multiple beds so they could spend quality time together, Papa, Granny, brother, sister & spouses enjoyed the wonderful deck area for relaxing and viewing the river. Great communication with property manager too! Highly recommend! "
