“Our family stayed for an extended weekend in the spring. The cabin is situated in a lovely setting and offers trails on site. The workmanship of the reassembled 1830s log cabin was amazing. All the details were greatly appreciated. We enjoyed several bonfires and grilled over the wood fire with the newly added grill top. The grandkids had fun on the rope swings. The front porch is so large and inviting. The town of Somerset is nearby and had several great restaurants. Also close to Buckeye……

“Good amount of room for the 3 of us to stay, Small bedrooms with only double beds. Bathroom and floors were very clean, and beds were comfortable. But the stove top and fridge were not clean. Very thankful for the available washer and dryer! The coffee supplies and cold water in the fridge were greatly appreciated.”

“The place was very nice! The only issues were that it wasn't clear the second bed was an air mattress, and there were quite a few wasps outside the door. Other than that, we had a great stay.”

“Our stay here was extremely disappointing and honestly stressful. From the beginning, the property did not feel safe, which we raised concerns about, but nothing was done to address it. During our stay, our truck was vandalized (egged), which only reinforced the lack of security in the area.To make matters worse, the host was not helpful when issues came up. Communication felt dismissive rather than supportive, especially when we were already uncomfortable. Instead of trying to make things……

“It was precisely a visit to Grandma’s house. From the back porch deck with new gas grill to the eclectic mix of cooking utensils and plates and glassware. Really enjoyed the display case with interesting objects and the wall art. We never found the tv controller to get local channels but did not need or want it. Not exactly a destination, but serves well as a good place to rest and recharge during multi day events in the Columbus area. ”
