“Staff was FANTASTIC!! Can’t say enough about how warm and friendly and hard working at least the staff I interacted with were . The resort is lovely if you aren’t looking for an extravagant amount of things to do and to just relax. They do however have excursions for additional fees. If you are looking to just lay on a beach, this is not the resort for you. The view is beautiful from a beachfront room however, you can’t go and walk on to it and lay nor go into the water. “We were a little sceptical about Galleon Beach Resort due to limited reviews but we did not regret booking. Upon arrival Talia showed us down to Sea Breeze - cottage number 10. She left a welcome sheet providing her mobile number incase we needed it, numbers of taxis etc. The cottage was beautiful with a living area with two small couches, a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, fridge water cooler and 2 plate hob. “The place is built sustainability so there is a solar farm for electricity and rainwater downpipes that lead to underground cisterns on each building. These cisterns supply water to the building. The building is near to the coast and you can see the sea and yachts based on the room that you assigned. It is a lovely place, very serene. “The room and amenities were good. Air conditioning in the shared dorm. Bathroom was a bit tight and living quarters had sufficient seating. Kitchen had free water dispenser and utensils to use if you wanted to cook. Walking distance to pigeon point beach and Nelson's dockyard But it's definitely a budget option. “This exceeded our expectations! It was in the perfect location, beautiful views to wake up to, and the bed was sooo comfortable. The owners went above and beyond for us, all of our luggage got lost so we didn’t have any cloths to wear, they showed up with bags of cloths for us to wear that just so happen to fit us perfectly. It was very generous of them, after this trip we now realize how much this saved us as there wasn’t a lot of cloths to purchase around the island. When we come back to……
