Absolutely wonderful! We felt like a King and Queen for the weekend. Food was great. Our hosts were so friendly and accomodating. We already booked for next year! Would recomnend with the highest of praises! Worth ever dollar spent!
My daughter loved the vepiew from your parking ramp!
This is a very nicely-remodeled home in a good neighborhood. The owners kept the original woodwork and added stucco to the walls which gives it a cozy and comfortable feel.
An obviously older hotel (e.g., conventional [metal] room keys) that seems at first pretty dumpy, but that's really attributable mostly to location. Once you're inside the room and re-evaluate impressions quickly improve.
We had a great stay with a group of PeeWee hockey families. Camden (spelling?) at the front desk was amazing!! She was helpful, patient and kind.
Good location and a very clean updated hotel. Great place to stay.
The pool area was excellent. King room was very nice. There was no one at check in and you had to dial the phone to get someone to come in from the back. That is the only offset of the property. Front staff was not very friendly...just matter of fact and no expressions.
Enjoy your time at Grand Opera House.
While you might not have heard of Oshkosh, the place in which it is located, it's likely that you're aware of the state capital, Madison, 80 miles away.
Itching to spend a few nights next to Grand Opera House? Some great possibilities are the Brayton Bed and Breakfast and Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel & Convention Center. They're both pretty much right next door!
If you don't have a bulging purse, you might opt to book a room at one of the area's budget accommodation options. Some establishments that are popular among visitors include the AmericInn Lodge & Suites Oshkosh and the Motel 6 Oshkosh.
Once you've checked out Grand Opera House, New Moon Cafe (401 North Main Street, Oshkosh) is the perfect place to refuel with a light bite to make it through the rest of the day. Manila Resto (107 Algoma Boulevard, Oshkosh) is also a few minutes’ walk away and is a fabulous place if you're after something a little more substantial.
