“I did not stay here despite my reservation and request a full refund of my money. Trying to check in after the posted ‘check in’ time, no one was the desk for 30 minutes of bell ringing. Returning two hours later, still noone there for another 30 minutes. I finally called the number on the front door(no where near the desk) and was told they did not have a reservation in my name. After learning that I booked through Expedia, I was told that Expedia ‘kept doing that’ to them and that there were……

“A very unique experience within this small but very elegant old hotel. The check in process was very friendly, having the lounge available for coffee, snacks, light breakfast was really nice. The room was so nicely decorated, very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was perfect! We will definitely stay there again if in the area.”

“Trash was piled in the closet from previous guests and was not noticed when room was supposedly cleaned. Also hair on sheets of both beds. Will not return.”

“The room was comfortable. Bed was good. Clean. There was a microwave, which we appreciated. However, why are all hotel/motel breakfasts so boring? Not a complaint against Comfort Inn, I guess, as there is little variation across motel firms. How about someone on site making omelettes fresh for $5-7? Wouldn’t real thick cut bacon be nice? How about decent coffee?”

“I enjoyed using the pool and hot tub. It was very relaxing. I truly enjoyed my stay!”

“Upon our arrival at 4:30 pm there was no clearly marked parking. Staff welcomed us, but after showing us to our room she seemed preoccupied with leaving, hurriedly giving us a meal suggestion. The room (#2) and bathroom were clean, sparsely decorated and extremely small and cramped for the 2 of us. There was a tiny television sitting 8 feet atop an enormous wardrobe (we never used). Street noise until 11:00 pm was constant and very loud, and the darkening blinds did little to prevent street……

“Newly renovated rooms with mattresses so new, they still have the plastic on them!! Go here, and go here QUICK. EVERYTHING is clean, it shares a parking lot with Culver’s, and the rooms are big enough to host all your relatives in! My top praise is for Karen the 80 year old breakfast attendant! She is an 18 year employee and whips up simply the best meals with a lovely smile and is so kind I want her to join me at every breakfast! THANK YOU COMFORT INN”
