You get what you pay for… it was fine for the money

Clean, comfortable room which was very close to 2 tube stations.

I booked this for my older mum as we needed somewhere nearby where she could stay as I don’t have a spare room. I think the place offered a great location and was a really great price. I booked the single room which had a large single bed. The room was comfortable, clean and really well equipped for short stays. Lots of towels which was definitely a plus. Only a few negatives were that my mum would have liked a non slip mat for the shower as she felt it could get a little slippy. It also stated there were tea/coffee making facilities but no English breakfast tea and no milk or powdered milk. The room would also be benefit from a small fridge. The TV channels were also a little hap hazard and would benefit from being simplified. We were worried that being above the pub at the weekend it would be noisy and whilst you could hear it a little it didn’t disturb my mum that much. Check in was remote where you needed to upload your passport and selfie which is great if you are tech savvy, struggled a little with my 89 year old mum We would definitely stay there again

One would think a hotel would provide a phone for their guests, even for one local call. I needed to call the car rental When we arrived, the heater wasn’t working, they fixed it right away. The shower isn’t the best, i can’t adjust the height because the adjustment is cracked so the shower head is throwing water on my neck. The condition of the room is not the best, kitchen cabinets were all worn out, baseboards are warped. The whole room needs to be renovated now, finishes were all outdated and worn out.
