“this is a small city hotel in downtown Wlkins WV. Many new updates, but keeping old hotel charm. Our room was comfortable, but too small to set up a yoga mat. Nice bathroom! Lounge was nice, breakfast was seved there. Also a evening dining area. Meals was great, portions were just right, no left overs. Choice this hotel due to walking distance to senic train ride. we happened to be there during the Maple Festival. Nightly free entertainment beyond rail station.”

“We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). “Spotless, cozy cabin with everything you needed. Fire pit, Grill, covered hot tub, store, laundry, picnic table all within steps of the cabin. Super quiet at night with nothing but the beautiful sound of the river just a stone’s throw away. The windowed porch at the entrance was very convenient as well. And whatever you needed that you didn’t have, the town of Elkins was just up the road less than 15 minutes away while still giving you the enjoyment of a remote river canyon. Can’t say enough……
