“We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). The WiFi worked the whole time we were there which was very helpful when mapping out our hikes. Plenty of……

“Very clean and cozy room! Nice place for a weekend stay with the kids.”

“Overall this was an excellent stay. Couple of things would have been nice conveniences, for example, extra blankets, tissues, paper for the fireplace or a fireplace starter. The cabin had a tub, but no shower, which was slightly disappointing. The cabin was clean and comfortable otherwise. We were able to do exactly what we wanted, which was to disconnect for a few days!”

“Spotless, cozy cabin with everything you needed. Fire pit, Grill, covered hot tub, store, laundry, picnic table all within steps of the cabin. Super quiet at night with nothing but the beautiful sound of the river just a stone’s throw away. The windowed porch at the entrance was very convenient as well. And whatever you needed that you didn’t have, the town of Elkins was just up the road less than 15 minutes away while still giving you the enjoyment of a remote river canyon. Can’t say enough……

“Great little cabin in a convenient location for hiking and climbing at Seneca Rocks. Communication was excellent, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout the stay. A great base for exploring the area.”

“Excellent location if you love to ski. We came to explore surrounding areas. We live in an area where there are no street lights so the lights from the parking lot interfered with our sleep. Also, we prefer central air conditioning. Opening the windows helped a lot. Deck had some nails pulling up, which we reported. Beds were very comfortable and our grandson enjoyed sleeping on the pullout couch while watching Disney. Overall it was very comfortable, clean & located in a convenient spot……
