Spacious and quiet rooms. A little old in furniture but I don’t mind that. Bathroom is modern and clean. Free parking. My favourite hotel in Hobart and good value for the money.

A beautiful hotel, spacious, clean rooms. Great facilities, pool and guest laundry. Staff are phenomenal. Breakfast is basic but good quality. Room service wasn't the best but the charm of the property and friendly staff make up for it.

Beautifully repurposed from its original form. Modern but still staying close to its 1800's beginnings. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Nothing ever ran out. New external suites were well done with lots of room to move. Would happily stay again.

Rydges Hobart has spacious rooms with high ceilings and good room facilities. The bathrooms are very nicely appointed. My ‘room’ was an older one with high ceilings and fairly worn furniture but was still very comfortable and consisted of a bedroom, a living room, a lounge room and bathroom. Excellent value for money.

Lovely hotel but the 3.00pm check in is unreasonable and not typical of every other hotel that has a 2.00pm check in.
