"This experience was easy from start to finish! Everything we needed to cook a family meal, super clean amenities, WiFi access, pool cleaned with enough beach towels for all of us, stores and restaurants close by, TVs in all the bedrooms so the kiddos could watch what they wanted, plenty of towels/wash cloths in the bathrooms, nice kitchen with table/chairs to eat meals and play games, washer/dryer, detergents and cleaners available, plenty of paper products, and can I add, the beds were absolutely amazing!! I can’t think of one item overlooked! The host checked on us during our stay to make sure we didn’t need anything. A wonderful stay! I recommend to anyone looking for a perfect experience! "

"We were in the area visiting our son at Moody Air Force Base and wanted a place that was clean and comfortable for the 4 of us. We stumbled upon The Painted Sky Homestead and couldn't be more impressed. Not only was the apartment cozy and clean, but it had everything you could want and need for a family stay. Check in was easy and straightforward. The property was welcoming and so were the sheep and goats. The kitchen was stocked with whatever you needed to make meals, the bathroom was roomy, and the bedrooms right down to the beds were very comfortable. Our host Abigail, was friendly and communicative, always right there if needed. Moody AFB was a quick ride for our son to stay with us, and it was so close to Walmart and places to eat. We hope to be back when we visit our son again! This was a very lucky find for us, and you will find that too!"

"House looks beautiful in the pictures, that’s why I am assuming there are no outside pictures. Not a good area, didn’t feel safe. Didn’t get the address until after the time allotted to cancel but even once I got it shame on me for not verifying the location. Received the access code 2.5 hours after rental started and was driving from MI so was panicking because not much communication and after asking yet again for code it took over an 1.5 hours for her to give it. Was told they were cleaning and lost track of time so house wouldn’t have been ready by 4pm (check in) Got there and my husband wouldn’t even let me get out of the car, we have kids and just had a bad feeling about all of it. Bad area, next street over appeared to be a drug deal, was told just because one person was doing that doesn’t mean it’s a bad area/ Neighborhood . Overall, RUN! Ended up having to rent 2 hotel rooms in a panic last minute after driving 15 hours with 3 kids, and arriving after 8:30 pm ..disappointed by the false advertisement. I will refrain from posting area pictures of respect to protect the address. I will make sure the artist that hosted the event and had us is aware for his next events to use caution and make his fans aware. "

"The house was exactly as described, clean and well appointed. The hosts provided clear instructions for check-in and out, and the process was seamless. The carefully curated suggestions for local restaurants and attractions were also greatly appreciated. We were in town for a family reunion and historical tour, and the location was convenient to all! Will definitely book this rental when returning to the area!!"
