“I can’t say enough about the property and the staff. We stayed in the Caribbean breeze cabin for 6 nights and it was an amazing experience. You are about 7 minutes from town in a beautifully manicured area which the staff takes care of all day long. The property is tucked just into the jungle off the beach so you get the best of both worlds. This is a place that will always hold a special place in our hearts and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience.”

“Emplacement et cadre magnifique, le personnel est top et toujours disponible si besoin. Les bungalows sont spacieux et bien équipés, comme la piscine et le jacuzzi. Comme précisé par l’établissement, un véhicule 4 roues motrices est nécessaire pour accéder au sommet de la colline. A faire pour vivre au cœur de la jungle quelques nuits.”

“I loved how peaceful my stay was. The staff was friendly and always available. The only downside was the hot water not working day of check out”

“Excelente trató hoy con la tormenta tropical me permitieron quedar Hasta las 2pm sin cobró extra lo cuál aprecio mucho| y estuvieron pendientes de mi en todo momento ya que viaje sola muchas gracias .”

“Decent stay.”

“The property was beautiful and clean, the staff was lovely and incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was amazing! Having only one coffee in the room for the 4 mornings (i.e. not replaced each day) was disappointing, but forced us to go out for a local coffee instead. Having small/snack items for late arrivals and/or while the bar is open would be a great idea.”

“Beautiful cozy place , great staff I will back very soon”

“Increíble lugar para pasar en Playa negra se ven los mejores amaneceres en Costa Rica a 10 min del La bonita caminando ,hay café y todo es muy verde”

“What an amazing stay from start to finish. The owners, Eric & Sharon were very hospitable and welcoming. Sharon suggested a few places for us to visit and they all ended up being highlights of our trip. The property is gorgeous, secure, very clean, and very comfortable. Every day started with coffee delivered to your room, and the staff prepares an AMAZING vegetarian breakfast from scratch. I am very particular about my food and I rarely eat the breakfast that is included with hotel stays, but……

“Lovely, family owned property. The only thing that would have been helpful would be to have more room amenities such as mini fridge, microwave, hangers, more towels… etc. Property is clean, close to everything in Puerto Viejo, within walking distance to the beach, has a good breakfast, and staff is very friendly.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolutely Wonderful Experience at Agapi! 🌴❤️ What an incredible experience staying at Agapi in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica! I absolutely loved every moment of my stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean coast. Agapi has such a lovely, peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax, explore the surrounding nature, enjoy the stunning beaches and experience the magical Caribbean lifestyle. As a solo female traveller who has……

“I loved location to center of town. Right across the street is the beach. Staff was excellent, welcoming, accomodating. Air conditioning was great. Tv did not work. The building seemed old, but my room was clean. Pool also on property was refreshing. So, ok but I would check other hotels , I have no real basis for comparison, maybe all are old. They could make outer building more attractive. Thank you.”

“Excelente servicio Todo el Staff excelente Barny excelente anfitrión”

“Great location by the beach, the staff was great with nice amenities and plenty of nature and animals. Restaurants were also good”

“Staff was great, casitas were cute, pool was nice. The rooms however are not very sound proof. Other noisy guests there in the pool or nearby rooms can be heard very well. You can hear TV and other noises in the next casita. ”

“Estuvo bien normal ”
