"Great property and the owners live on the grounds and were super helpful. Great family. Everything was great but make sure if you need AC you get the rooms with the units. Some do not have it and I asked beforehand so I was prepared. Other than that, loved it, and would definitely stay again. Seeing a real sloth cross the street and go into the property was the highlight!"

But notwithstanding the discomforts ( they really should invest in screens so patrons can at least open the windows at night and get that Caribbean flow), this place offers unique experiences. Many wild agoutis wander the grounds, and there’s a charming jungle path to a private beach nearby. Breakfast included."

"The grounds are expansive and absolutely beautiful. We saw monkeys, giant green macaws and toucans on the property. The location - between Playa Cocles and Playa Chiquita - is perfect. Both restaurants on the property were great - we especially loved the cocktails and ceviche at Spice House. We stayed in a two-story family villa. There was plenty of room for 3 teenaged boys and 2 adults. The bedrooms were air-conditioned and the downstairs was cool and comfortable with just the windows and fans. The staff was courteous and the breakfast delivered to our room each day was such a treat! Highly recommend this hotel to families. It would also be comfortable for seniors since there are first floor rooms and the grounds are flat and easy to get around. We loved it."
