"Wonderful experience staying in Clontarf Castle! The room was very nice and clean. The shower was great and I loved that you could adjust all the settings without getting wet first. Breakfast was wonderful and I was shocked to see the honeycomb tray out! Lots of variety for picky and non-picky eaters. Close to public transport to get into the city. "

"Breakfast had good choice and was fresh. Could perhaps have a think about more than one coffee machine that makes cappuccino, latte etc for the amount of people at Breakfast as queues can build quickly. Staff at breakfast very friendly and attentive clearing plates. Hotel itself is beautifully decorated and finished. Nice to see a free carpark also!"

"Breakfast is not there, string point, buffet style, with very limited options for hot food and a toaster section that takes an episode of Coronation Street to produce my toast. The bar is nice but very small, and the evening meal is not much to write home about. Fire alarm went off at 6am both mornings of my stay, and not even an apology from reception when I checked out, just people smoking in the rooms, what can I do? The rooms you can tell are undergoing some transformation, but mine was very tired, and my bath panel even danced for me when I opened the door. The grounds are beautiful, and possibly within time, this hotel will be a gem again, but I was disappointed with my stay overall"

"There was parking right in front of the house. We were greeted warmly by Tia and shown the house and our room.She also gave us information on things to do and places to visit in the village. Wonderful experience!"
