“It was outstanding! We were lucky to get an upgrade to the best room (with jacuzzi). The staff, breakfast, grounds, beach, room - everything was blissful. Like a garden of Eden. We hired a car but perhaps it would have been better to get there by water taxi as the roads are incredibly narrow and winding. We parked at the top and didn’t dare drive down to the beach, but others seem to manage. The hotel is built into the hillside with incredible views of Kalami Bay. There are lots of steps and 2……

“We really enjoyed our stay at Ella Alkyna, the food was really good, buffet had a great selection and the restaurants were lovely too. The hotel wasn’t the easiest to navigate around at first but after a couple of days you get used to the routes. The pool was great, cocktail choice was really good and the area around the beds was always clean and tidy. The main pool bar gave out drinks in plastic cups but the others did drinks in paper cups. “A smaller hotel, located on a busy road, but handy for transport (local bus stops outside). Nice, if compact rooms with a good pool and bar, within easy walking distance to the village of Kontokali and a good selection of restaurants. The hotel breakfast is very nice. It’s a 15 minute walk to Kontokali beach and it’s lovely taverna, Brouno’s. All the hotel staff are excellent. A 20 bus trip to Dassia beach is also worthwhile for sandier and water sports options. I recommend the Telesilla Hotel!”
