“What a lovely hotel. We were greeted by friendly staff on arrival and checked in within minutes. We were appointed a quiet room which was spacious and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was very nice both at dinner and breakfast. The hotel had excellent gym facilities. All in all a great short break!”

“From the moment we arrived til the time we left all staff we met made a big positive impact with our stay. Check in, bar, dining and service staff were great. As we are on an extended trip of 3 months staff changed our room to thd lower floor so we didn't have to lug our suitcases upstairs. “From the loading bay in front of the property, it’s a step over the pavement to the bar, where there was a welcome and an efficient introduction to the building. Access is easy with a key fob. The room was cosy and clean. I didn’t use the kitchen but it looked clean too. The location is right in the town and there’s a big car park (pay and display) behind it, with very handy EV charging. Being a busy bar, it gets noisy at night. There are good places to eat nearby in the town, and the parkrun……
