"This place is okay.. for the price, but it felt a bit run down and bare bones. Nothing special at all... not many people were staying there so I felt out of the ordinary any time I Ordered a drink and food. Also, they didn’t have 75% of what was listed on their menu. The first night I was there I tried to order 4 different items but the guy said they didn’t have any of them. Eventually I asked okay what DO you have? He said “pork and prawns” ... so basically every night I had a basic noodle and...

"Nice little house with thatched roof plus balcony in front. Unfortunately whole town is under construction. Natives not very happy as the Chinese are buying up all the land around them and paradise for the backpackers is disappearing fast! Big high-rises under construction EVERYWHERE. Roads under construction, all for future Chinese tourists who'd like to gamble. Big detour to get to the beach. Howling dogs in the middle of the night woke us up and kept us awake for a while. Wifi very spotty....

"I really enjoyed my stay at sandbank, I only booked 3 days there because I thought sleeping in a tent might get old quickly but I could easily have stayed The staff quickly realised I was on my own and encouraged me to take kayak and snorkel at heavily discounted prices.. Like I actual felt bad when I heard the real price They even let me go along with them on the grocery trip by boat to the main port and I saw such a beautiful sunset it was amazing.. They even both me beers while I waited...

"Koh Rong is quiet but the Hill Beach Resort is located near the more popular area of Long Set beach. Probably nicer places along the other beach but your stuck far away from shops and restaurants. The resort and staff were lovely and I think its the pick on the island. They have their own jetty which the main ferry line drop you off at."

"My room was great with a balcony with view, well working internwt and amenities- my friend however had a cockroach infestation in his room so he had to switch to anotger building, which also had a small infeststion of roaches in the bathroom. His room alsl lost power during the night."
