"Sambor Prei Kuk, as one of the latest UNESCO World Heritage sites, definitely needs to be finally put on Cambodia's tourist circuit (so far, it gets only a handful of visitors), and Dracaena Resort is hands down the place where to stay - it's in fact the only place in reasonable distance from the temple ruins, but it's also quite certainly the best accomodation anywhere between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. You're still in the jungle here (so no wifi and no hot water - the owner is producing his own...

"we asked for a early check in got there the time we asked but had to wait around for 5 hours until the room was available if it wasn't available they should of emailed us as we just was on a 14 hour bus ride and wanted some straight away. then when we got to the room we were shocked it was like a tin little shed with a double bed could just fit in it we left owe stuff there as we weren't happy at all then we found accommodation some were else as we wood not feel comfortable at all with room"

"So glad we booked here! Beautiful pool courtyard oasis. Super clean, flawlessly maintained with comfy beds, tub and shower. Staff was great and knowledgeable about local attractions and transportation! Hotel has a dedicated team of tuk tuk drivers. Breakfast buffet was delicious every day. Excellent stay!!!!"

The hotel is a beautiful oasis, and the staff could not be more attentive to their guests.
