“The room exceeds the way the inn looks from the outside. The inn was under construction, so there was a lot going on, but the check in was smooth and staff was courteous. Once we got our room, it was like being in a different world. Room was spotless, smelled good, and it seemed so much newer than the hotel itself. Overall it was good.”

“We loved our stay and will plan to come again. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was an easy 5-minute walk to beach. Convenient to everything else. Fun amenities for everyone too. The only thing we didn't like is that you can hear the people upstairs fairly well when they walk etc. I wish there was a little better sound insulation. But everything else was great!”

“I am very angry about this stay. When I checked in, the door and windows were left open, and the room smelled damp and moldy. The curtain had what looked like blood stains, and the bedsheet had mold spots. Since it was already late and I had a full workday the next day, I reluctantly decided to stay. When I picked up the plastic “Do Not Disturb” sign, I found oil on it, which was disgusting. The room had almost no sound insulation. I could clearly hear the TV from the next room and footsteps in……

“Wonderful Stay at Marriott Costa Mesa! I had a great experience this weekend at the Marriott Costa Mesa. I was greeted by a friendly young woman at check-in who was working hard to make sure every guest felt taken care of. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and cleaned daily. The location is perfect—close to everything, including Newport Beach, great restaurants, and plenty of shopping. I would definitely visit again!”
