"This a very nice hotel for the price and location. It's right across UTC mall and very close to the 805 (without the noise). Reception is great and attentive which goes with the schwanky vibe. Room very clean and you can log into your Netflix which is a rarity with upscale hotels for some reason. My only complaint would be the staff coming in when I'm showering. I dont do free shows. I told them to come back but they were like ,:naw you supposed to be gone". I had one more night. Don't know what the game plan was but I was slippery so draggjng me would have been hard. Besides that 10/10 would do again."

"We just returned from this very lovely property. The plantings are gorgeous and the public spaces have plenty of comfortable seating spaces to relax. We especially enjoyed the evening in the lobby bar listening to a guitarist play gently in the background. The beds and rooms were comfortable. The housekeepers can be heard talking through the doors early in the morning. I shushed them! And I would not recommmend the very expensive, mediocre restaurant for dinner. Too many great and far less expensive choices around town. I do thank the front desk staff who listened to my issues and reported it to management. The front desk staff were all wonderful. The woman in the cafe was a little frosty. No idea why. But we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this lovely little gem to anyone."

"I absolutely love this hidden gem for a staycation. Very pet friendly, my dog always loves staying in these rooms for some reason. The food offered here is excellent and there is an Aldis close by for your food essentials. Every stay you can hit a bucket of balls and paddleboard and free bike rentals. You are a lovely 20 minute drive to Encinitas, a delightful beach town. "
