"It’s an older property but, it’s clean, quiet, and the staff is VERY nice. We had an extremely late check in and the staff really worked with us and was very helpful even at almost 1am. Well will definitely stay here again. Our room had 3 beds and a lil pull out sofa. Lots of room for 6 people! "

"The lodge was very clean. Owner was great and we have no complaints about the lodge. Only thing was the police told us we couldn’t park our side by sides out front even though they were in parking spaces. "

"Property was just off 77 easy to get to. Facility had a bar and food that was very nice. Rooms could use a little update and hallways and stairs need cleaned. But overall for price and a one night stay would recommend. "

"The house was very nice, roomy, and well maintained. The road leading in is narrow (which is expected for mountain roads), but the drive had plenty of parking. We throughly enjoyed watching the deer every morning and evening. Even though the trail head is farther than advertised (13 miles instead of 3 miles), the drive via SxS was very nice. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to see y’all again. "

"I’ve stayed at this property many times, and it just keeps getting better. There’s plenty of room for everybody and plenty of parking. I see they recently built a new front porch, which is very comfortable and a great place to relax after a day of riding. The property is located between two different trail systems so you have a lot of options. Additionally, you can drive through the town of Crumpler and then make your way over to some restaurants and the Outlaw trails. The property owner is very responsive and helpful. I will continue to visit this place whenever I want to ride the southern Hatfield McCoy systems."

"My husband and I stayed for 5 days to ride the Hatfield McCoy trails. The place was perfect for us! Immaculately clean. Very comfortable bed and well appointed. The closest trail access was an easy 10 minute road ride with a gas station on the way. The other trails were further, but could be easily accessed by the approved roads, or in some cases via another trail system. From what I could tell, this appears to be one of the nicer rentals in the area. Check in and check out were a breeze and the host was outstanding with communication. Great place!"
