"Very convenient location, super close to the MTR station and shopping malls. Staff were friendly and welcoming and there's free dispensable cold water available which was great. The room was very small but it was enough for what I needed and most importantly it was clean. Only negatives is the shower could do with a lightbulb as it was very dark and other guests can be quite loud sometimes."

"I've stayed at Ashoka Hostel before. If you are a budget traveler, I can't recommend this place enough. I needed a cheap place to stay while getting my visa updated last year. So I stayed here again. I stayed during the May holiday this time, which meant the price was more than $44 a night, but it was still a bargain. "This hotel is brand new and it is super clean! It is in a very convenient location, and there are a ton of restaurants around. However, what set this hotel apart is the staff. They are so courteous and kind. My 80 year parents stayed for 5 nights during Chinese New Year, and they went above and beyond to assist my parents. Very impressed! We will definitely stay here again when we visit Hong Kong next time. "
