"We LOVE The Highlander. Have stayed here 7 times now and will continue to book all of our Iowa City visits here. It’s a full resort with plenty to do on property and then catch the bus or a cheap Uber Downtown. "

"It is a great hotel close to restaurants and the Back Pocket Brewery. We enjoyed having Starbucks and a great buffet breakfast available right in the hotel lobby. We also enjoyed walking along the River Walk in the morning and having coffee in the back of the hotel. Following the Iowa game we had a couple more drinks in the hotel bar where they had multiple televisions. "
