“Great place to stay”

“Such a wonderful big space for a family get together! Comfortable beds, gorgeous views, fully stocked with everything a family needs to live comfortably. We had incredible views of fireworks across the entire horizon on July 4. This was one of the best family vacations we’ve ever taken, and we’ve travelled to 42 states. So impressed!”

“Muy bonita para pasar lejos de ña siudad y olvidarse de todo”

“The location and view was great, quiet. Air conditioner didn’t work the second night it was 85 degrees inside, first night was cool outside so wasn’t noticeable. We didn’t get back till late so we didn’t bother trying to get help with it. No working lights outside, blinds are all broken, fridge/freezer not cold my ice melted over night. Rodent killer bottle sitting outside the door. I cleaned the dehumidifier filter as it was completely coated with dust. The ac head is dirty so it probably needs...

“The prairie and stream were beautiful. We loved the outdoor covered deck and the 3 season enclosed porch. Everything was clean. The fishing was good for the amount of rain we had.”

“Was sufficient for the one night stay.”

“This home was very clean and had all the things we needed for a quick little marriage getaway. The home is cozy and it’s close to the lake. There is even a nice little trail down to a beach within walking distance. This host has everything you need to make this your home for your getaway. Highly recommend it!”

“Comfortable and rural--which means limited cell phone coverage. Our dogs loved the space to run in an open field. The house was neat and clean.”

“We loved that this cabin is pet friendly! It is spaced out from the other cabins so it still feels private, but not secluded so we were still able to meet new people around the RV park. The pond on property is so beautiful and we loved being able to fish and kayak on it. This is a perfect location for a weekend camping getaway!”

“This was a clean place to unpack and unwind!! Bring food that you’ve already cooked since no stove. But grill and fire pit available. I was able to be at lake by myself with just the birds, bugs, frogs , and God. So thankful for this peaceful retreat!!!! Communication was great ! So appreciative of my time here. Kayaking , fishing so fun!! God bless you all!”

“Good location, a bit noisier than I expected due to trains during the night and some construction. Close to Yellow River Forest, Effigy Mounds and Pikes Peak State Park. Comfortable furniture and bed. Kitchen area includes microwave and small fridge, no sink. Looked like a nice fireplace which I did not use. Shopping, but few restaurants of note on main street; a couple of bars and one gourmet store. Kwik Star right across the street which was convenient. Host was friendly and accessible.”
