Easy stroll from station (7-8 minutes, with luggage), immediate access to all- old town, restaurants, funicular to Madonna del Sasso etc, ferries for lake trips,. Staff totally helpful and engaging. "Staff were very helpful and hotel is beautiful. Rooms were spacious and clean. The property had free bikes to explore the town and a free shuttle (that must be booked as they only have one shuttle). Location is quiet and can be easily reached by taking Bus 1 from Locarno. "

"We spent one night in Ascona. Our Hotel room had the most beautiful view we've ever had (it was a lake view room). Apart from the balcony, the room was a normal hotel room, nothing special but also nothing to complain about. Everything was clean and we were overall super happy with our stay. We would have stayed another night if our plans permitted. Parking is unfortunately not at the hotel though - it's in a public parking garage that's not directly next to the hotel."
