“The room was really nice and cozy, and the bathroom was stunning. The new renovation looks absolutely amazing! The front desk accommodated an earlier check-in for us which was lovely. We also didn’t hear any noise from the pub downstairs at all, but we were in the wing on the other side of the hotel — if we had paid for an ocean view then we would have been in the wing directly above the pub which would have likely meant noise. The Bear was also really good and the oysters we had were divine!……

“We asked to change rooms when we arrived because the room overlooked the inner courtyard and restaurant rather than the ocean.
There was no liquid soap in the bottle in the shower.
On our 2nd and last morning at 8am I arrived for the FREE breakfast to find there was no milk. When I went to the coffee station there was no cream at all. I reported this to a staff member and he said I could check in the front office fridge. So on my own I went and discovered 6 unopened 1 litre Coffee Cream……

“Staff was very helpful. My room was very quiet so had a great sleep. Hot shower. Forgot to pack my swim trunks so could not enjoy the sauna. Good location to the Wick and to downtown. Overall enjoyable. Glad they had a coffee shop inside. ”
