Location is walking distance to Luneta , Manila Bay, and Intramuros. China Town is a tuktuk away. Beautiful heritage building. Spacious. Chinese Restaurant offers reasonably priced dishes. Impressive Peking Duck. Aside from the noticeable wear it’s clean. Chair cushions need cleaning specifically in the lounge and restaurants.

I have to say in pics and on first glance this place is a beauty, and must have been splendid in its day, and the reviews were outstanding...all that to say while the place was clean and staff pleasant, this place is more than worn around the edges...the roof on the 3rd floor was leaking the entire time I was there, and staff while pleasant were doing a lot of standing around and on their phones. ...the place has more staff than guests, but no one seems super eager to help especially in the Restaurant The place is kind of falling apart once you get passed the Lobby and the Foyer and needs a ton of work....at the end of the day I overlooked most of it, but the leaky roof was a bit much

The hotel was falling apart. The hallway ceilings had holes, hallway carpet were stained, the food in restaurants wasn’t good - chicken was raw and when I complained they said I was wrong, the receptionist never answered my calls from the room, the water was shut down when they were renovating the hotel. The hotel is a complete mess.
