"Foods amazing both at the Wild Fig and Townhall. Rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The 4 star on amenities is due to the hot tub being out of order and the one reason for my weekend getaways. The pool however is heated and very nice. "

"The room is clean and renovated, and it is very spacious. There is a convenient shuttle that goes from the hotel to downtown Vancouver and free breakfast buffet in the mornings. However, I do wish that more information or reminders were relayed about these amenities, especially during time of check-in. We were not notified about the free shuttle until we asked about the hotel van parked outside, and by then it was our last night. I’m excited to see what the hotel will look like after renovations are completely finished."

"The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and spacious. It was a very nice stay."

"Very unpleasant experience. The restaurant was closed for a “private event” when we had otherwise planned to eat there. Needed two beds, and the reservation said Queen with pull out couch was available (maybe hotels.com error over the property itself). Instead they gave us a king room and said no rollaway or extra sheets were available. What kind of hotel has no extra sheets?! There was a bag of trash outside of our door, room was otherwise clean. The staff was very unhelpful and just kept saying no no we’re fully booked - okay well you booked us here too, so we did expect the room as noted and basic services. We weren’t even offered any kind of luggage cart as we struggled with our multiple bags. "

"Dirty everywhere. Dirty room, dirty pool, dirty halls. This place is very dated and smells of cat urin. The carpet in our room was bubbling and grimy. The “breakfast” was a selection of bread, hard stale waffles and hard boiled eggs plus a handful of yogurt. The coffee was empty and after 30 minutes we made ourself a pot cause no one else had. Additionally they have people sleeping on the couches in the lobby, not sure why but it was very unprofessional and made it uncomfortable for guests to use that space. Went to the pool, we understood it was busy but there was a huge group causing a ruckus and walking around with open liquor in the pool. The kids of that group were rushing ten at a time down the slide, so dirty, overcrowded, chaos. Would not recommend this place to anyone. "

"Got upgraded which was nice, however the wear and tear is visible in this hotel, paint peeling things like that. Nothing over the top bad, comfy bed. Hottub wasn’t super hot, no towels in the pool area first thing in the morning. And with the construction happening, bit of a pain coming and going. Hop, skip and a jump from lots of shopping options and great food. Easy access to the highway, considering the construction. "
