Relaxing and convenient to two Yosemite entrances (El Portal and Mariposa Grove). Six rooms in three separate buildings. Private deck area for each room. Modern bathrooms and great AC/heat. Satisfying breakfast. Quiet rural location. Highly recommend!

Nice comfortable inn in outskirts of Mariposa town. The hostess was very helpful and provided a lot of information regarding the various tourist attractions in the area.

Never again, they are undependable
we tried to checking-in, but they sent us because we don't have any reservation at their place. I tried to show the booking confirmation email (conf.number), but they didn't accept it and sent us. It was very bad news for us and we were very upset because we couldn't imagine that so could happend at all. The stuff was unfriendly, rather unamiable and offered no options for us. We were tired, it was late and had to search for another accomodation…

Treated with disrespect by both of the office personnel. They were unwilling to negotiate when we expressed our difficulties in staying a second night, but wanted to argue with us instead of listening to our concerns. We checked out immediately. The location is NOT in Mariposa, as indicated. This may affect your travel plans, as it did ours.

Visited nights of 6/5/19 & 6/6/19. Quaint, reasonably priced for the area, and within 1/2 hour of Yosemite NP south entrance. Christine the owner was accomodating of our late arrival (8:45/dusk). We did not understand her written instructions on where to park that she had left taped on the office door. The next morning, upon our formal check-in, we were scolded for not parking by the pink roses by the house. The "house" was the office. The pink roses were gray/black when we arrived at dusk and along the shoulder of the road. This was not clear until she took us outside to show us the spot. Aparrently the space in front of our cabin, where we parked, was needed for a handicapped customer. We apologized several times, and we were repeatedly berated. This did not make us feel welcome at all. The room felt like a furnace when we arrived, and took 45 minutes to cool it down. It was in the 80s during the day and the A/C had not been turned on. When we returned from a day of hiking in the 80s we looked forward to colapsing in a cool room. It took 30 minutes to cool it down because housekeeping had turned the A/C off. We paid for the room, including the A/C, for 2 days. That evening we also found ants in our groceries.

Our very happy stay in Little Valley Inn
Our experience was great!! Our room was immaculate, very comfortable and charmingly decorated with attention to detail. A folder with information about sights and services in the area was in the room . Breakfast was excellent and parking very convenient. The hostess was very welcoming and helpful regarding additional information. We ended up staying one additional night

Be warned - no refunds
We stayed here two nights of a four night scheduled stay. There were fires in the area, not the owners' fault. However, when I stated that the smoke made staying here impossible due to asthma in my party, I was told there would be no refund and the smoke was compared (by the owner) to going to SF Bay on a foggy day. Fog doesn't aggravate asthma, folks. We also woke up on day two to a room crawling with ants. It's part of the environment - just know that you can't leave anything in the room unless it is well-sealed. We were not warned. The takeaway - don't expect to get your money back if you need to cancel for any reason, including medical.
