“no other visitors checkin that day but expedia said it's full and can't change the room with heater. When I check in, nobody at office and need to go next door Cedar Lodge, also Cedar Lodge have no idea if there are other empty rooms for change. ”

The BBQ had propane, there were hand juicers, and three different ways to make coffee. We walked in and were very happy with the booking. “We have stayed at Yosemite West at least 6 other times, booking through other listing agents. Never had any issues. We are always 100% satisfied and happy with everything.. Not so much this time through VRBO/Vacasa. #1. There is no phone in the unit. There are signs all over that tell you a number to call with issues, but that number is to an out of state place... not someone local to deal with anything.. AND - since there is no cell reception.. and no phone... the only way to deal with any……

“Lisa’s property is located about 20 minutes from Yosemite Valley. VRBO provides detailed instructions so far as directions and accessing and using the property. It is in nice condition aside from a couple of funky faucets that could use a plumber’s attention. We found it very comfortable and well furnished. Everything works and Lisa provided all the linens, plates, cooking supplies etc we needed. She is extremely responsive. We mentioned needing a couple of items and adjustment of the heat and……

“We loved this property! So spacious and comfortable. Perfect for the six of us. An easy 45 minute drive to Yosemite Valley. Loved the wood burning stove. The kitchen was spacious, the beds were comfy. A late season storm almost snowed us in. The owners’ staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They brought us a snow shovel and even helped find some snow chains for our car. We’re definitely coming back to this house!”

“We had a good stay here once we were able to get into the house--the message we received with check-in information provided both the wrong house number and wrong door code. We could not reach the property manager to get the correct code (granted, we arrived at around 11pm and VRBO was able to eventually reach them), but fortunately we guessed the correct code. The wifi also went out completely 2 days into our stay. The house did have everything we needed and proximity to the valley was great.”

“Cozy House”

“Well maintained property. Hosts thought of everything one may need for a comfortable stay. Living area/kitchen is spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds are comfortable. Outside areas perfect for family fun. The gentleman that opened the hat for us was very nice. One thing I did notice was that other guests left some condiments, groceries. We needed an ingredient and noted that it was out dated. Hosts may need to go thru leftover items and discard the outdated ones.”

“We had a great time staying here. It is so well equipped and clean. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub after a day of exploring Yosemite. The beds are very comfy and the rooms are spacious. Ted and Connie were lovely and very communicative.”

“Google Maps worked well for us. The place was very clean. Check-in was pretty easy. Wonderful neighborhood. There is a small grocery store nearby that saved us a trip outside the park. The only issue was that AC would not work, it got hot inside the property in the evening and at night. We just opened some windows and handled the heat.”

“Very spacious. Excellent sleeping arrangements. Full kitchen. Guests should know that the devote, especially the bathrooms are not updated and have the original hardware from 1980’s, maybe older. Although the place was clean the older bathrooms made you feel like it was not because of the are spots. Otherwise, excellent property.”

“The property is very convenient for a visit to Yosemite and is located inside the park. The location is good with parking for 2 cars and plenty of room for up to 8 people. There is good cooking equipment and lots of room to sit. There is no internet, TV or cell service at the cabin. The carpets are quite stained and generally things are a bit shabby, but generally clean and spacious.”

“This is a lovely property with plenty of space and decor is very appealing. Some additional kitchen items would be helpful if planning to cook.”

“It was a nice home. There were 7 adults and we each had a bed. Anything over we believe someone would be sleeping on the couch. The view was lovely out the back door. Lots of curvy roads to get to the location.”
