The room was clean and comfortable, and the service throughout the entire stay was outstanding. The restaurant food was absolutely delicious (kiss the chef!). Overall, a wonderful experience. “Very disappointing experience. At the time of check-in, I was informed at the last minute that the property was under renovation — no TV, no Wi-Fi, no breakfast, NO drinking water and unbelievably, not even basic toiletries! There was limited toilet paper, only two lamps were working, and there was a strong foul smell and constant noise outside the room, including dogs barking next door. To make things worse, I even spotted bugs on the bed. Absolutely horrible! My biggest question — why wasn’t……

“Everything about our stay at the Duke Mansion was wonderful. Talk about Southern hospitality! We felt welcomed with the spacious room, comfy bed, friendly staff and beautiful gardens. A plus was that we could easily walk to many different restaurants. I highly recommend staying here when traveling to Charlotte.”
