Lodges in Charlotte

"This was a last minute booking due to a flight delay. Check in was easy, however, when i got to my room and we used the toilet it would not flush. No help from front desk staff and i was told no plunger available. I had my 82 yo mother with me and we used the bathroom but put the paper in the trash as it would not flush properly. Linens felt old and unwashed. Neighborhood is best suited to city smart people not old folks. I informed the morning front desk person and they asked if i was given the plunger, to which i responded i had not. The shutttle is a good attribute but had a musty smell and a broken seat belt. "

"We booked this hotel for a week for a business trip in the Charlotte area. When making reservations I wanted to make sure we would be able to park our 26ft box truck. The rep put me on hold to make sure we would be good on parking. I was told we could park the truck at the Hilton because they had regular parking. And these were sister companies. When we get there we found out we had to pay $50 a day for parking. I guess that part was left out. The bedding wasn’t clean on both beds. The comforter thing on both beds looked like it hadn’t been changed a few times. I had to change the trash myself when house keeping came beds wasn’t refreshed I changed trash they gave me bags. A couple of the guys who did the valet parking was nice and friendly. They didn’t have a pool I don’t know how I missed that. Location was great right by spectrum center. As much as you pay for these you you’d expect clean linen on the beds. I don’t know I guess that maybe too much to ask I guess. Other than parking issues and dirty bed linen everything else was ok. "

"We missed our flight and this hotel was exactly what we needed to decompress. All the staff were helpful and courteous. Special mention to the receptionist on the night of our arrival (April 19th) and Joe."

"I liked the breakfast buffet, the room/beds, and it was nice overall. Only issue I had was with a couple of electrical outlets not working but I was able to find a workaround. "

"prices did not match anywhere, parking was $16 nightly and the breakfast buffet was $23 and it was mediocre. Nice lounge. Pool outside was closed even tho it was it was in high 80s but that was alright. The bar was a nice touch wish it was open maybe an hour extra, midnight is early for a bar but it was so convenient being downstairs. Parking was no issue and plenty of space. Hotel rooms will never be perfect as too many people are in and out but 7.5/10"
