I really can't say enough about this lovely inn. Updated, spotless room, quaint atmosphere and wonderful location at Carmel-by -the - Sea for starters. Add in a fresh home cooked breakfast and a wine hour with charcuterie and let's just say it was a dellightful stay.

This is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of an even more charming town, Carmel-by-the-Sea. While breakfast is only served starting at 8:30 AM, the premium quality makes it well worth the wait.

Location is excellent - in the heart of downtown Carmel. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Parking was extremely limited and it was extremely difficult to get in and out of some spaces. The breakfast was just OK and the dining area was too small. Some guests had to wait for a table after filling their plates at the buffet table.

Our room was right on the sidewalk/street. We needed the windows open because there’s no ac. It was noisy and uncomfortable to have passersby be able to see right into our room. The breakfast was nice but the room is dreary. Not enough parking for all of the rooms. There are nicer places to stay for the same or less.
