Beautiful views in a country farm setting

Overlooking the Great Deviding Range and farmland. Peace and quiet in this tranquil 100 acres property. Back block natural bush land with undulating hills. Nature at your doorstep, kangaroos, wallabies including the tiny Pademelons, koalas. Native birds to the area. You may here dingoes (wild dogs) howling in the distance. Friendly lowline Angus cows Comet, Ira, Nugget the bull and Stormy the heifer feeding in the paddocks plus offspring and 2 Galloways and calf who love a a slice of bread. Our friendly minature horses Buddy the stallion, Bell the mare and Jock her offspring. Our poultry who come down to visit chooks and ducks. Fireplace for those wintery nights. Outdoor fire pit with seating taking in the sky full of glistening stars. Lots of destinations to visit in the Scenic Rim which has been named the 8th best destination in the world. Fresh rain water on tap. Once again views to die for. You have privacy from our house due to distance and trees. No pets are permitted as we have no fences.
Please note shops are a 30 minute drive to Rosewood for groceries, pubs, service station Drs, post office, second hand shops etc. Or Aratula 23 minutes has a pub, bakery and service stations. Traffic is at a minimum.

Check in and out were easy. The little cosy farmhouse was filled with character and lovely personal touches. It had a warm and friendly feel. Everything was very clean, everything you might need was provided and the beds were comfortable. The surrounding peaceful countryside was picture perfect complete with farm animals and kangaroos at your back door at dusk. Sunrise was amazing. There is no internet and phone reception is poor but the stay is a getaway from the hustle and bustle of normal life and allows you to recharge. My UK friends absolutely loved this beautiful country Aussie experience.

Lovely quiet place, beautiful views, kids loved being in the country, and the host was very accommodating and didn't interfere with us at all. The compost toilet took a little getting used to, but overall a great stay

Great country mini-break

After going to the Winter Harvest Festival in Kalbar this was a nice spot to refresh before going to the Harvest Hoedown at the Cow Bar in Kalbar :)Beautiful views, charming cottage. Very helpful and prompt communication with Christine.Great to have AC heating to take the chill out of the cool night. A bit noisy compared to the serenity of the surroundings. We had the opportunity to meet the mini horses and was provided carrots from the host to hand feed them. Photos on the profile are accurate. So beautiful out there.A really relaxed mini break. Thanks C M for hosting us!
