"Pros: - The host is very lovely, attentive and makes you feel at home, - nice home cooked breakfast with classic english, vegetarian, continental options, - located close to main Plymouth attractions, - room is good size and well equipped with functional furniture (hangers chairs, bed side lights) and consumables (tea station, bathroom consumables, even cotton buds) - clean. Cons: - the property walls, ceiling, furniture, soft furnishings, bathroom white goods are clean but dated (cca 90s),...

"Great little pub. Surprisingly spacious and modern rooms. Food and beverage selection was excellent and service very fiendly and welcoming. On the downside the pub entrance was having some excations hence had to go around the back to enter - no doubt this will be fixed in the future. Also the wifi was a bit patchy in the room at times - but otherwise a pleasnat stay despite the incessant rain"

"The toilet was on the outside of the room which i was not expecting when i had booked a room with a private bathroom. The shower also steps onto carpet and there is no exhaust fan and no way to open the window which makes room quite humid when trying to straighten hair. Also concerned also the shower had some mould in it. The no exhaust fan with the shower being in the room could lead to mould problems in the future. Otherwise okay"

"We stayed just one night at The Burrator Inn but what a lovely stay. We had a tasty dinner before retiring to our large, well furnished, comfortable bedroom. The room was warm and welcoming with a good en suite bathroom. The breakfast menu was excellent, and the staff friendly and efficient. We would certainly recommend it to our friends."

"Location is right on the harbor, beautiful views of a small but lovely fishing village. Room was surprisingly big, well decorated with an excellent bathroom. Enjoyed painting of harbor which was an exact match to looking out the window! Mevagissey has very little parking and narrow streets, but parking is provided about 200 yards away so it's an easy walk."

"The proprietors were welcoming and very helpful with dietary intolerances. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The food was tasty and plentiful, proper food, not that novelle cuisiine nonsense. The beer was well-brewed and truly tasty. The parking was a bit cramped but nothing that any reasonably competent driver could not cope with. We would definitely stay there again."

"I've stayed there twice now on each visit to Plymouth. The rooms have been refreshed, clean and the area is generally fairly quiet. The location means you can walk to the Hoe, Barbican readily, and the Drake Circus is 5 minutes away. If I return to Plymouth, I'd readily come back!! And the staff are great :) "
