“Lovely stay in this friendly pub. Fantastic breakfast, plenty of choice. Staff were excellent, specially the lovely girl who worked so hard to make sure everything was OK. We were welcomed by the locals and had two days of live music in the garden. Fab weekend.”

“A warm welcome from Jenny. Excellent breakfasts. A characterful property of considerable age with slightly quirky elements: who would expect statues of a Buddha and komodo dragon in a former abbey? Our en suite room room was spacious and clean. The large bed looked a little antique, but was very comfortable. Many would join us in liking like that mix of character and comfort.”

“We booked this accommodation as the reviews were very positive! But just a few days prior to our holiday we saw a review that said this property was sold and presently empty! Contacted the owner email/phone, no response. Contacted Expedia, finally got through to talk to a representative..but just said they would contact us 24hrs prior if the booking was cancelled! The owner finally rang us the day before our trip and confirmed our booking ..but not at the accommodation we originally booked! On……

“Loved this B&B - the room (Langley) was clean and big, and had everything you need. There was a cafetiere for the coffee which I genuinely don't know that I've ever had in a hotel before, and really liked. There's UHT milk in the room and fresh milk and cold water in a fridge in the guest lounge (as well as bags of ice that I somehow missed until the last night, don't miss the ice). If I had a single negative about the room it would be that the headboard or bed frame creaks really loudly when……
