"Nice spot for our group visiting family in Carbondale. Clean, spacious, and well stocked with goodies. Looks out onto a big farm field which made for great sunrises. Some plumbing issues, with one toilet that continually clogged and standing water in the shower. Would like to see some area rugs & outdoor lighting added to the property. Overall, a good stay for our group and met our needs well."

"Took the family to southern Illinois for a quick getaway. The property was great. Really loved the pool and hot tub! The view from the back of the house of the lake was great! The kids and myself enjoyed the paddle boats! The entertaining area was quite large. Would be great for weddings, family reunions, etc."

"Wow! We absolutely loved our stay at Ann's cabin. Out-of-the way but a short drive to everything we wanted. The location was quiet and peaceful. The house was immaculate and tastefully well-appointed with beautiful art, upscale furniture and superb linens. The beds were comfortable and the internet was blazing fast. "This was exactly what we needed for our trip!! My partner and I are rock climbers, we visit this area often to climb at the Holy Boulders in Pomona, and we came up at this time to see the eclipse. Usually we camp or stay up in Carbondale, but we are already looking at coming back here for our next trip!
