“Friendly hosts who are very welcoming into their home. Service was very good with a wide range of choice for breakfast. The little touches are most appreciated - such as a mini fridge in the room for fresh milk to make a tea or coffee. Very quaint and welcoming place. Will certainly stay again.”

“The restaurant was lovely and the staff very friendly. The food was good value for money. We went to Wentworth Woodhouse Flower Show and it is a very easy walk. There is also a large garden centre very near. There was plently of parking at the property and the bedroom was huge. Very good place to stay.”

“The room pretty much ticked all the boxes for me. everything in very good condition, well maintained, very clean room and bathroom. Very reasonably priced. Bath/shower, small touches like biscuit with the tea/coffee kit, and real soap, no nasty squirty dispensers. It is over a pub, so some conversations audible until 11pm, but not to a problem level, and no restaurant, but plenty of food options within easy walking distance. Pub looked fine as well.”

“The hotel actually has two sections on two sides of the bridge. We were expecting to be on the water side but was disappointed. The room only has a small window facing the back of the hotel. Nothing impressive at all. The staffs were not helpful on anything. We were asked by the front desk to go across the bridge to make booking at the hotel restaurant. ”

“I’ve stayed here many times. Rooms are clean, tidy and well looked after. The TV is very small though, so if you want to watch something, it could be a bit of a challenge. The hotel is in a safe countryside area. I like that there’s nothing else around, but others might prefer more nearby. Hot fresh breakfast is good, but the coffee isn’t great. I’d like to see more fruit and yoghurt options as I don’t eat a full breakfast. I’ll happily stay again. ”

“Very happy with cleanliness of room and hotel. Restaurant open till late so got a meal at 9pm after other places had closed. Food very good and all the young staff very polite friendly and helpful. Good value for money. The hotel needs to stress that the breakfast deal for residents is only applicable between 7am and 9am. ”

“Lovely grounds and rooms. There was a wedding on which was fine aoart from some noise latecat night. The staff were great and very helpful. Tasty meal in the restaurant too”
