“Great location. Friendly helpful staff. Walkable to Barefoot landing and Duplin Winery.”

“It was a very nice stay off-season right on the ocean. Restaurant was good and staff was nice.”

“Got a room on the second floor of the shorter building. Parking was miserable. Paid extra for ocean view but was blocked by palm trees. Couldn't enjoy the moon because we were right next to bright security lighting all night. Not a great romantic getaway that we wanted. Hot tub was decommissioned and a lot of the resort needed maintenance- chipped paint, doors not opening properly, elevator was BARELY big enough for the luggage dolly...”

“The room was very clean and it was quite and relaxing! We will be back”

“Great place to stay. The staff is very friendly. Excellent breakfast.”

“First room was dirty- someone else’s hair was all in the sheets- that clearly hadn’t been changed. Switched rooms and it was somewhat cleaner. Bathroom was dirty, shower curtain was mildewed badly and the whole hotel smells musty. All linens were musty and dingy. Would not stay here again. Bed was also awful, like sleeping on box springs. Hard hard. 10/10 would not recommend if cleanliness is important to you!”

“Fine”

“Activities director a lot of fun…”

“We stayed for one night it was an easy check in the rooms are really big but the deck outside needed a facelift and I see that they are doing work and I hope that they'll work on the balconies that's the only complaint”

“Rooms need upgraded. Stayed there a number of times in the past and seen very few changes in the rooms.”

“I wish there were more pork free product options during breakfast.”

“When we checked in to our room we took the green clean for our room. Got to our room and floors had not been swept or vacuumed. Spoke to front desk and she said they would take care of it. Returned to the hotel after being gone all day and it was not taken care of. The floor was gritty, had paper and stuff in carpet. Disgusting to walk on. We were also informed at check in there would be no elevator for our check out day. Our room was on the 4th floor. We were told to use the stairwell. Got to……

“It was just ok. Paying $35 For resort fee was little much. The whole resort needs to be refreshed.”

“I checked in around 4pm on October 30th. Got my key cards and went up to my 3rd floor room. The elevator wasnt that clean. Getting out of the elevator I noticed half of the hotels 3rd floor was wrapped up in plastic (I assume fumigation). Everytime I check into a hotel I check the room for bedbugs or any other issues. I start with the pillows and mattress. On flipping one of the pillows I saw a bedbug crawling around on the back-side of the pillow. Nasty. I took a picture of the bedbug……
