Our kids loved the kayaks and the sandbar near the island gives a great place to enjoy the water. Fishing was great! Great communication with owner, they are very sweet and helpful. The games were a big hit as were all the places to just enjoy the views. We had a rainy stay, but we loved the stay and house. “Myself, husband and 3 kids thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay at the cabin. It was very clean and welcoming, had all of the supplies we might need, and was very well kept. We loved the easy access to the water and great view of the lake. Loved eating on the deck and enjoyed a bonfire each night. Lake was great for fishing, tubing and kneeboarding - plenty large for several boats out at once. Communication with Doug was very timely and he was very accommodating to help us make the most of……

“Very well appointed home on a gorgeous lake! Our family takes a “lake vacation” every summer for the past 10+ years and this home is at the very top of the list of places we’ve stayed at! Very clean, spacious, with large kitchen and absolutely loaded with everything you’d ever need. The home also has a pontoon available (for extra charge) that we rented for the entire week. We fished every day, caught a ton of huge northern pike. We enjoyed the fire pit every evening, made s’mores etc. The……

“Summary: Great property, owner easy to work with, great location. Group of 3 adults and a 5yo - stayed for a week, highly recommend! This sweet little lake cabin has spectacular views of Osakis Lake from the porch/back room. The foot print may be small, but they've made the most of the space and the layout is great for a small family or group. Just a few steps down to the dock and convenient to public beach access just up the street. The other direction up the street is a fantastic playground……

“My wife and I stayed in the new treehouse room that Jill and Joan added to their Wizard's Cottage. The treehouse room is full of windows and beautiful lights. The moon through the night really impressed us with the beautiful stained glass views. With three decks and room to spread out, we enjoyed the Lord of the Rings theme and creative decor. Great hosts made us feel at home and definitely have a nice price for everything offered. We're hoping to bring friends, family, especially grandchildren,……

“This cabin is wonderfully located just feet from the lake and a perfect location for fishing at the head of the lake!! We enjoyed one full day of just playing all the games in the cabin. We appreciated cooking with all the pots and pans and other kitchen utensils provided. The best part was the wood burning fireplace. We will be back for our annual tradition of fishing on Lake osakis for New Year’s!”

“This is a nice spacious home. We had a big group and plenty of space.The kids loved running in circles around the house. Kayaking and fishing were some of our favorite activities. The pool table was a bonus and the large deck. The kitchen is also nice and large. The shoreline had quite a bit of seaweed during our stay, so it was difficult for little ones to swim, but we were able to swim out further. Beds are also average, not the best for the back if you're older :) Really overall it was a……

I booked it because the price was ok and there was a continental breakfast, we got there only to find out that the breakfast consisted of bagels and yogurt... not exactly the kind of continental breakfast I was looking for. Hotels should state specifically what their breakfasts consist of. ”
