“This place was an absolute hell hole. I can't believe I stayed here. I wouldn't even let my cat or dog stay there. The outside pool was GREEN and closed. So I took my niece to the indoor pool and WOW. Has the indoor pool ever been cleaned? The hot tub sounded like a monster was in it. The room I stayed in had stains on the floor.”

“Very disappointed in the state of the room. Numerous outlets were not working. The ceiling in the bathroom is all rusted. We assumed it was because the bathroom fan was not working. We tried to see if we could sign in Early, but there was no one at the desk. So we called the front desk & there was no answer. A person told us they were cleaning the rooms. They hadn’t even brought the phone with them.”

“Grandview’s location is beautiful but the lodge itself is very old. We stayed in the main lodge upstairs and the bed sagged, the carpet was old and nasty, the door warped, the windows dirty and the room was very old with a terrible musty smell. We stayed for 4 nights and had to ask for clean towels and take out our own garbage as housekeeping services are not provided unless requested. By the time we realized this, it was time to go. It’s a historic hotel in desperate need of an update in the……

“Eat at the restaurant at the hotel. It was the best. I’ll never have better north woods biscuits and gravy. Chicken tenders, burgers, fries, ribs, chicken parm were also all so good. It was great.”
