“Horrible!!! The owner should not have had the place available for renting this last weekend. When I called to get my room number, I was told by the owner that it was project weekend and his son and about 15 friends were there helping him. We show up and can barely walk without tripping through all the extension cords and power tools. It wasn’t a project, it was major construction all throughout the chalet .Our first night there, the owner’s son and friends were so obnoxiously drunk and……

“EXCELLENT LOCATION!! This is such a beautiful and convenient location! It's close to everything Bayfield/Apostle Islands has to offer within a block or three. Tour boats, fishing at Pier/Marina, Bayfield Market grocery shop, shopping, restaurants, ice cream. beach. Memorial Park end of block. Madeline Island ferry is right across the street. If you forget something you can literally run back to the room and grab it in minutes. Which we did (our fishing license) for our fishing excursion on……

“Cottage 4 was a blend of rustic charm and recent updates. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were a party of two, but it would have been roomy for four. The hosts’ welcome gift of local ice cream was a bonus. The location worked well for us. It was just off the highway, but quiet; and we had easy drives to explore towns and trails in the area.”
