“We were rudely awoken by the fire alarm at 3:30 am. When they finally went off, another guest said there wasn't a fire, so we went back to our room and called the front desk to verify. I feel they should have called each guest room to confirm there was no danger, as I guarantee we were all awake! Needless to say, it was not a restful night. At breakfast in the morning, they allowed another guest to let their dog run loose in the breakfast area and jump on other guests. I wiuld not stay here……

“The location is great and the walking trail into downtown is a nice perk. However, the trail access could use some maintenance the wooden stairs were rotted in several areas. The room itself was extremely clean but unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable. No padding at all, and we could both feel and hear the springs. The blankets were also pretty itchy. It would have been nice to enjoy the fresh air, but there were no screens on the windows, so opening them meant bugs swarming the lights……

“Located in central Bayfield,WI. Easy access to lakefront outings. Though located above "social club" and restaurant, noise not a problem. Decor/styling are modern and good quality. Property is without a frontdesk, so check in is virtual. Site used for this was somewhat difficult to navigate. Check in not until 4p. Street parking only, unless arrangements for reserved parking made ahead of time.”
