“The property and cottage were well maintained and overall we enjoyed our stay. The ad stated that there would be an additional charge for pets without a value. Upon reaching out it was not clarified and ended up being $75 per dog on arrival. It would be appreciated if that was communicated prior. Our initial greetings with the host were rushed and there were errors with the wifi connection effecting our payment. The host persisted that I must use another form of payment while standing outside...

“My family and I all enjoyed staying at this property. The cottage is exactly as described in the listing. It was immaculate when we arrived and we were very pleased with how well stocked everything was. The kitchen has lots of pots, pans, dinnerware and utensils. Beds were comfy, and you couldn’t beat the views from all of the windows. Highly recommend to stay here, and we would definitely return.”

“This is a special place, ideal for 2-3 people. We loved the outdoor shower. The stem of a tree is part of the structure- very original. We were allowed to bring our pet who clearly enjoyed being there as well. We would book this home again for a repeat visit to Parry Sound”

“Great area to take the kids. There was a lot of Waters sports that the kids used such as kayaks. Water, trampolines, etc.. There is a volleyball net, but you would need to bring your own Volleyball. Sand on the beach is super nice right for kids building Sandcastles”

“Staying at the River Done was a truly awesome experience. Communication was great, if we needed anything a quick text helped us with anything we needed. Enjoyed access to the canoe and kayaks, fishing off the dock and some local public spots as well! The Rover dome was a quiet, tranquil place for some quality time together and r&r!”
