“Because of the state fair the rooms rates were ridiculously high. We pre checked in to save time at the desk but still took about 20 minutes to get our keys and had to give them all the same things I entered online. The property is very dated and in need of repair. “Blue Way Inn is a budget-friendly hotel. Close to downtown and local landmarks. We stayed one night. We went to Hutch for the Kansas State Fair. The Holiday Inn room rate was over $400/night. This was the only hotel with availability when we booked a few days before our visit. When I called the hotel to ask a question the fellow who answered the phone would not be selected for employee of the month. Customer service is not a priority.
