“There are definitely some issues going on with this rental. The bathroom fills with a scent of raw sewage if you keep the door closed like we did to keep our dog out. You couldn’t even breathe in there with the window opened. I failed to read all of the reviews before I booked it and it seems like I’m not the first person who has had this problem. It is dog friendly, which is wonderful however it is about 15 feet from a road that is 55 miles an hour which makes things very loud with the thin……

“Our stay was wonderful ”

“Very friendly staff.”

“Apart from its own bar, it is closed on Sundays and Mondays, and it takes a long time to find a restaurant nearby.”

“Just a solid, well maintained property that provided us a needed place to stay near Blacksburg”

“It was a decent enough hotel for a one-night stay. Hotel clerk was a very nice guy and personable. Sheets were kind of thin and carpet was a little warped in two places. But not bad for a one night stay. Also didn't realize we'd be next to an Adult Store facility.”

“The AC unit was not working properly. The fan would blow for a couple minutes then stop. The room ended up being rather stuffy all night long. It was also a handicapped accessible room, but the handheld shower head would not work and the shower itself leaked all over the bathroom floor due to poor design. We expected so much better from a Hampton. Otherwise, it was clean and comfortable with a decent breakfast provided… just like most of your competitors.”

“Beautiful location and very friendly people. The only thing is the rooms are small. It was a great place for one night. I would like to go back during the peak of fall.”

“Room was clean, all amenities were good. Would stay again. Close to plenty of places to eat. Easy access to highways.”
