"There was almost no one at the hotel when we arrived to check in at 3:40 pm (as evidenced by their parking lot) but when we arrived, we were told our room was "not ready yet"- she clearly didn't even check - just brushed us off because it was not 4:00 yet. We saw her walk around and get water, then suddenly our room was ready at 3:55. The website says you can order takeout from the bar in person or call down. I called down. After being put on hold for 10 min., I hung up. Waited 10 min. and called again. Was put on hold for almost 8 minutes this time until the guy who finally took the call said - no, you have to come down and order in person and then wait for the food. Otherwise, the cleaning service was nice, brought us extra linens for the pull out and I liked them checking on us via text to see if we needed anything. The check OUT lady was nice as well. Unimpressed though overall. We will go back to staying at the Omni or Marriott for future visits to my daughter at Duquesne University as we found both of those hotels to be a lot more accommodating and comfortable overall."
