I booked 4 rooms in the select club area, arrived and got down graded to family area and the staff was being rude when we were upset about our change. One of the rooms ac was not cooling called multiple times to get it looked at, no one ever came to chech the ac nor they moved us to a different room with a cooling ac. I had asked for all our rooms to be together and we were are scatter in different areas. On our last day 3 of our bracelets were deactivated and we didnt have access to our room, we had to walk back to the lobby to get them reactivated.

We arrived at the lobby July 5th at 6:20pm and waited in line for over an hour. When we finally got to a receptionist, they couldn’t find our reservations and that took an additional 1.5 hrs of searching. Finally at 9pm, Sandos still could not find our reservation so they put us in a room for the night and to come back the next morning to sort things out. They put us in room that was not clean. It did NOT have blankets, soap, and only 2 towels and the sheets were dirty. The refrigerator still had food from the past guests. Next day, We went back to the front desk and they finally found our reservations. Josue was very apologetic and he tries his best to help us. We asked Josue at the front desk to see if we can move to another room on the first floor that is clean and prepared but he had to check with his manager. When we went back to our room, our keys would not work so we had to go all the way back to the lobby and reprogram our bracelets. The first 3 days of our trip was nothing but problems. We spent more time in the lobby dealing with issues when we should’ve been at the pool or beach. Huge thanks to Kena and Josue for trying their best to make our situation better during our trip. We are so sad our trip to Sandos started this way. I also realized no matter what your status is with Expedia it has no bearing or carries any weight to help resolve any issues.

Pros: Beautiful beach, Good Pools, Great staff and service, spacious rooms, 5 star for room service staff. Cons: Quality of Food (Disgusting, stale , nasty food), it was so bad that we had to step out to 5th ave 3 times for dinner out of our 6 night stay.
