“It was foggy the first couple days so hot and miss with being able to see the water. When the fog lifted it was beautiful though. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Kitchen was well stocked and clean. ”

“The cabin was amazing for my friends and I. Great central location to so many cool hiking trails/Lake Cushman. The host was also great. Having a guide was really helpful for us to find the best spots in the area. The actual rules and instructions for the cabin were easy to follow as well. ”

“My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,...

“Came out here for a 10-day solo trip with my dog. It was the perfect setting despite the crazy atmospheric river weather. I still got in some pleasant days. Susan is the best host I've ever had as far as this booking sites. She made me feel so welcome and at ease. The cabin has everything you need. “This was just about one of the "biggest" surprises I've EVER found...Elfendahl and the Wanderbus are truly a HUGE TREASURE!! A stay that is 'magical', for sure! Like going into one of Tolkien's books!! We LOVED it, and the owner and staff were outstanding! “This historic cabin was just our style. Clean, charming, quiet, and comfortable. We thought check in was easy. Customer service was excellent. The kayaking was really fun! The river side and nature trail was enjoyable. There is a lovely shop and wine/beer bar with outside seating across the street. We will be back! ”

“We wanted to dive at the Sunrise resort. This place is right next door and a short swim to the boats underwater. Only down side is there wasn’t really a good place to hang our gear when we were out of the water. Only other negative was the sugar ants that we kept finding all over downstairs. Otherwise, host is very responsive to our questions and the house has pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay. ”
