"The Renaissance is a convenient location to all things happening in the city. It is a very well maintained property. There is no staff to help with luggage so locate a luggage rack if you are traveling heavy.

"Loved this property. It was gorgeous and the room very spacious and well-appointed. Set in quiet residential setting. There was however absolutely no management present on the property the entire visit and when I tried to contact them through two different phone numbers about a late checkout there was no response. Then I received a text from a different phone number (the cleaner, I think) saying my key was not in the location it was supposed to be at checkout time. She was very kind and apologetic and said the owners were traveling. This was more like a shared airbnb experience than it was a hotel, which is fine, but they should call it what it is. I will probably try again as it’s close to where my daughter lives."

"We enjoyed our stay in the Carriage House. It's a wonderful property tucked away on a tree-lined neighborhood. It's an easy walk to Brown's campus and to restaurants in Wayland Square. The house is very functional--three large bedrooms and another bed in the loft. It was very comfortable for two couples. We worried that it might feel too close to the main house, but that wasn't the case. We really felt like we had our own space, and very much enjoyed our time there."

"Everything was perfect until the keypad malfunctioned on our last day, and we couldn't get in. Since it had never happened before, our host never anticipated that! The decor was beautiful, very spacious and clean rooms, kitchen and living/dining area. Ample parking. Aref was very responsive to our questions. My only suggestion would be to make a key- backup handy. We all loved the place"
